Date night at the Starlight

If you're looking for fine dining you won't find this place on greatrestaurants.com. This evening out was in our churches cultural hall and it was really decked out. The ones who were in charge spent three days putting this together only to start ripping it down in three hours. They had a dance floor lit up and a fancy menu, mints and the whole nine yards. If you can see the lanterns on the table, each of them took a little over 2 hours and there were 8 of them! Seriously, who does that? Only Janice who has too much talent and not enough places to use it! I ought to suggest she donate her talent to me...to put all the bijillion pictures I am taking in books so we could actually see them. This was a really fun evening and Nate even danced with me!

Yes, Wells did cut his hair. It's a first for our house but I'm sure not a last.Harrison was quite fascinated by the hair cuts.

I'm so glad when daddy get's home!

ALL of us are glad when daddy get's home! He entertains the kids and get's them out of the kitchen!
Nate is telling funny stories from his day at work to Ellie and she is fun to make laugh. She really "gets it" when you tell a joke or do something funny. Wells and Nate had a staring contest.



I am realizing that I am not in many of my pictures. I love this blogging thing because I take pictures of fun everyday things rather than just the big events however... I am the one pulling out the camera. I must admit that I am not feeling terribly photogenic at present but oh well, I still need to document the fun I have with them.

Cabelas

On our long trip home from Idaho we stopped at Cabelas so the kids could get out and stretch their legs. They have trout they feed regularly and a whole bunch of "stuffed" animals so it was fun for the kids.
